The object of the study is recreational and health forests of the Ukrainian Carpathians.
The purpose of the study is to develop measures for the conservation and rational
use of recreational and health forests through the transformation of
forestry production in the direction of ecologically, economically and
socially balanced use of the useful properties of the forest and
effective implementation of market mechanisms in the practice of forestry

Research methods: collection, analysis and generalization of archival, stock
departmental data, materials of the UkrRIFE, Ukrainian State
project enterprise “Lesproekt”, review of legislative and
regulatory acts, the latest domestic and foreign scientific
and other information sources on the state of recreational and health
forests, recreational forestry and ecosystem services; field surveys and research in recreational

An analysis of the state and structure of recreational and health forests
