The bactericidal effect of medicinal plants (Common pear variety Listopadova, Common milk thistle, rhizomes of Perilla erecta (Kalgan) and Bischofite on Staphylococcus aureus strain 209 and Escherichia coli strain 1257 was studied. According to literary sources, it was found that the chemical composition of the studied plants contains: flavonoids, phenolic glycosides, tannins, triterpenoids, amino acids, essential oil, hydroxycinnamic acids, saponins, catechin, sanguinarine, which are the ones that have an antimicrobial effect. The objects of the study were 40% tincture from the leaves of Pyrus communis Noyabrskaya, Arctostaphylos Adans and the rhizomes of Potentilla erecta.
