Identifying ways to improve the reliability and efficiency of modern power grids within the concept of Smart Grid popup.description2  The information model for managing distributed power sources is considered in the paper. A three-level control system is proposed. The model was created in the PSCAD program and the main characteristics of the transient process were constructed to analyze the results of the work. In this study, a block diagram based on fuzzy logic is developed to diagnose the transformer aging that supplies a power distribution system with a high penetration of connected electric vehicles. Several negative factors that affect transformers are considered and included in the model: the ambient temperature, poor power quality, and overloads caused by excessive power consumption from regular loads and electric vehicle charging. The proposed algorithm allows to diagnose the state of the oil transformer and provides a warning level (i.e., a message) for the distribution system dispatcher. This study presents a theoretical approach to analyzing the impact of electric vehicles on distribution networks with a focus on the durability of distribution transformers and load optimization. The proposed methodology considers key factors such as temperature, harmonic distortion, reactive power, and overloads that affect the technical condition of transformers. The developed charging scenarios for electric vehicles, including on-demand charging, off-peak charging, and V2H/V2G technologies, demonstrate effectiveness in reducing peak loads and minimizing transformer insulation aging Product Description popup.authors Diahovchenko Illia M.
