Aim of the study: to study predicted patterns in forest pathologies spread in order to preserve and improve forest condition.
Methodology of the study: methods of comparative ecology, forest mensuration, physiology and biochemistry, and microbiology.
The work of the “Monitoring of Forest Pathologies” web portal (https://urifmfp.org.ua) developed by URIFFM has been activated to collect and summarize data on forest pathological processes in Ukrainian forests, as well as to plan relevant forestry activities. About 140 state forest enterprises (branches) have been registered on the portal. The dynamics of pathological processes in the forests of Ukraine over the period 1994–2024 have been summarized and analyzed.
