In addition, changes in the functional state of the endothelium (decreased levels of eNOS, endothelium-dependent vasodilation of the brachial artery, increased levels of fibrinogen) and indicators of the systemic inflammatory response (increased levels of CRP, hsCRP, IL-6, IL-1β, pentraxin-3, decreased levels of IL-4, IL-10, and kallistatin) were determined.
