The subject of research is the establishment of relationships between various operational, production and repair factors of influence and operational properties of elements of motor vehicle systems. The purpose of the work is to increase the resource and reliability of motor vehicle systems by studying the relationships of the relevant indicators of operational properties with decisions made in the process of production, operation and repair of wheeled vehicles. Research methods are computer technological engineering, methods of full-scale testing, electrical measurement of non-electrical quantities. The analysis, development and optimization of constructive and technological methods for increasing the resource of motor vehicle systems in production and repair were carried out. The problematic issues of maintainability of wheeled vehicles were considered. The influence of the type of tires and their pressure on the change in the dynamic properties of a passenger car was determined. The issue of increasing the accuracy of evaluating accelerations of wheeled vehicles during tests after repairs with modernization has been considered. Theoretical calculations of the relative additional fuel consumption during cylinder shutdown in the engine have been carried out. A systematic formulation of methods for increasing the technical level of technological machines for repair production has been carried out. Communication competencies in e-learning have been assessed. The choice of geometric parameters of friction pairs of a car's disc brake, taking into account their wear, has been justified.
