Object: the process of training teachers (specialists in the field of special education and inclusion) to teach and educate people with SEN. Subject: theoretical, methodological, educational and methodological support for the professional training of teachers to teach and educate people with special needs. Research methods: theoretical, empirical, statistical. Purpose: to scientifically substantiate, develop and experimentally test innovative technologies and scientific and methodological support for their implementation in the training of specialists in the field of special education and inclusion based on the identification of the state of education of children with SEN in the Kharkiv region. Main objectives: to scientifically substantiate, study and analyze the state and quality of education of children with SEN; to develop scientific and methodological support for the use of innovative technologies in the training of specialists in the field of special education and inclusive education; to introduce innovative technologies in the training of specialists in special education and inclusion; to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of innovative technologies in the training of specialists; to develop manuals and methodological recommendations. Results: the state and quality of education of children with SEN in Kharkiv region was studied; scientific and methodological support for the use of innovative technologies in the training of specialists in the field of special education and inclusion was developed; technologies were introduced into the professional training of specialists in special education and inclusion in the education, upbringing and socialization of persons with SEN; the effectiveness of the use of innovative technologies in the training of specialists was evaluated; manuals and methodological recommendations were developed.
