The importance of integrating bicycle infrastructure into settlement street networks is supported, drawing on international examples. Key architectural principles and methods for bicycle traffic organisation are identified. A methodology is proposed for determining the necessary number of bicycle highways and recommended lane widths, as well as guidelines for optimal path layer thickness. Typical road cross-sections with added bicycle paths and lanes are also provided. The principles of the street and road environment formation, with allowance for low-mobility population groups needs, were determined, the characteristics of means accessibility ensuring were specified, and the methodology for individual parameters calculating was developed.
