Research methods are statistical, mathematical, analytical and simulation modeling of freight and passenger transportation, analysis and synthesis of transport and logistics systems.
The report examines the features of organizing the transport process of transporting passengers and cargo, managing logistics processes, and organizing the movement of vehicles. Methods of managing transport processes are presented, taking into account logistical and technological parameters. Strategies for managing inventories are presented, and the task of determining the sample size for surveying urban population movements and determining the regularities of the spatial arrangement of public transport infrastructure in urban agglomerations is formalized.
Forecast assumptions regarding the development of the object of the study are the results of research work that can be used by transport and logistics enterprises and executive authorities.
