Given the challenges facing society and the state in wartime, strengthening national-patriotic education is one of the necessary prerequisites for both the national security of the state and the achievement of internal unity and stability of society. It is important to find mechanisms for overcoming the conflict of identities and creating a single socio-cultural platform for national development in Ukraine, to develop a Ukrainian-scientific conceptualization of understanding and interpreting the identity of Ukrainians in connection with the risks for the entire Ukrainian community: military actions and crimes on the territory of Ukraine, humanitarian crisis, information warfare, active migration processes. The Ukrainian-scientific approach in national-patriotic education should play a pivotal and key role, because it is it that can form the Ukrainian essence of citizens and, above all, the younger generation. The project involves the development of scientific and practical models for filling the educational process with Ukrainian studies content in accordance with the challenges of today, which will activate the formation of conscious and motivated Ukrainian patriotism. One of the practical manifestations of the research results is the updating of the content areas of Ukrainian studies content in school disciplines, the development of methodological materials for the course "Ukrainian Studies" for educational institutions in Ukraine and abroad.
The purpose of the project: the development of Ukrainian studies as a component of the national-patriotic education of Ukrainian youth in order to preserve and recreate the identity of the Ukrainian nation in Ukraine and abroad in the conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
