Acute surgical diseases and injuries of the abdominal cavity, especially in combat trauma, are accompanied by a large number of complications and high mortality, which requires the development of new effective methods of diagnosis and treatment. Improvement of laparoscopic interventions (in the absence of contraindications) performed in acute diseases and injuries of the abdominal cavity can increase the accuracy of the diagnosis, reduce surgical trauma for the patient or even avoid unnecessary surgery. A rational combination of minimally invasive and traditional methods of surgical treatment will reduce the number of complications and mortality, increase the effectiveness of timely diagnosis and treatment. The use of laparoscopic interventions in combat and gunshot trauma of the abdominal cavity for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes is a new direction in military field surgery, requiring additional study and analysis.
