This approach is relevant not only for the application of cartographic modeling methods to territories affected by radioactive contamination, but also for constructing a typical cartographic model-sample for the generalization of radioecological information. The proposed method of radioecological zoning of agrolandscapes provides for a landscape-based approach with the integration of data from a series of thematic maps using a grid principle. popup.description2 The relevance of spatial analysis and radioecological-landscape mapping arises from the long-term consequences of the Chornobyl disaster, which continue to determine the ecological state of Ukrainian Polissya. Although radiation contamination levels have gradually decreased and some lands have been reclassified from restricted use, large areas remain ecologically unstable. The lack of systematic monitoring in recent decades has created an information gap that complicates effective management and highlights the need for modern cartographic modeling methods. The proposed methodology offers an integrated scientific and practical toolkit combining cartographic, mathematical, and geoinformation approaches. At its core is the development of an integral indicator of radioecological criticality, which includes hydrographic conditions, relief morphology, runoff accumulation, soil type, ^137Cs contamination, land use structure, and population dose load. This enables assessment of the current state and identification of the most vulnerable zones for priority monitoring. Mathematical modeling of radionuclide migration from agro-landscapes forms an important component of the framework. Implementation is carried out through geographic information systems, particularly QGIS, allowing integration of open data sources such as OpenStreetMap, SRTM, cadastral maps, and Copernicus satellite imagery. The result is a map of radioecological criticality that serves as a foundation for planning rehabilitation measures and ensuring safe land use. Overall, the methodological recommendations represent a significant contribution to improving the ecological monitoring system. They support scientifically grounded agro-landscape management, enable forecasting of radiation dynamics, and promote a balanced integration of environmental safety with sustainable agricultural production.
