Modern methods of applied mathematics were studied, their analysis and justification of application in certain branches of science, technology and economics were performed. Based on the studied methods, algorithms and programs for solving current problems were developed: numerical modeling of processes of local heat treatment of large-sized products; mathematical modeling for determining competitiveness and forecasting enterprise development strategies; construction and optimization of the infrastructure of the emergency notification system for the population; study of a dynamic model of the ballistic trajectory of a projectile taking into account friction forces; mathematical modeling of electromechanical processes; construction of numerical algorithms for solving problems of parallel ordering; applied problems of the theory of optimal partitioning; mathematical and computer modeling of the metal refining process for optimizing the quality of steel. The studied mathematical methods and developed mathematical models for students of the specialty "Applied Mathematics" were developed and implemented in the educational process.
