The purpose of the work is the theoretical and methodological justification, development and experimental verification of the educational technology for the formation of information and communication skills of students in the linguistic, socio-cultural space of an agricultural higher education institution. Research methods are the bibliographic method of studying scientific sources, educational, regulatory and legal documentation; abstraction, synthesis, generalization, forecasting; empirical - expert assessment and study of the experience of training future agrarians in Ukrainian higher education institutions; pedagogical experiment (initial ascertaining and formative stages); survey, questionnaire, testing, interviews, diagnostics, observation; methods of mathematical statistics. Using these methods, a number of tasks were implemented: - the socio-pedagogical significance and theoretical and methodological principles of professionally oriented foreign language training of future specialists in the agricultural sector were substantiated in the context of globalization, internationalization and digitalization of education; - a comprehensive analysis of modern trends, methodological approaches, innovative technologies for teaching foreign languages ​​in agricultural higher education institutions was carried out, and the role of the teacher's professional skills in the educational process was determined; - a pedagogical technology for the formation of information and communicative competence in agricultural higher education students using native and foreign languages ​​was developed, substantiated and experimentally tested, identifying the pedagogical possibilities of using modern ICT, including AI tools.
