The object of the study is historical memory in Ukraine at the beginning of the 21st century, during the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The subject of the study is the relationship between historical memory (cultural, religious, memory of war and peace, memory of the front and rear), national identity, collective memory in synchrony and diachrony.
The purpose of the work is to analyze, based on the developed theoretical and methodological principles, the impact of wars, in particular the Russian-Ukrainian war, on the transformations and nature of the Ukrainian mnemonic space, to determine the relationship between historical memory and historical policy, to identify the stages of the formation of historical memory in Ukraine, to draw the attention of higher authorities and the public to the outlined problems; to develop practical recommendations on the main vectors of the national memory policy in Ukraine.
