popup.description1
Development of low-cost chemical synthesis processes for mass production of nanocomposite
material based on iron-silicon and iron-carbon compounds for effective absorption of
electromagnetic radiation to protect electronic equipment when used in security systems and
military applications.
popup.description2
As a result of this project, technologies for the chemical synthesis of nanocomposite materials based on graphene oxide, iron oxide and silicon oxide were developed and their structure and composition were studied. Simple and cheap starting materials (precursors) were used for the synthesis of nanocomposite materials, as well as iron chlorides, graphite powder, tetraethoxysilane (TEOS). Te nanocomposites GO-Fe3O4, SiO2/Fe3O4 and GO-SiO2-Fe3O4 were synthesized. Specific conditions for the course of chemical reactions and each stage of synthesis were established, namely: sequence of operations, total reagents, reaction time, temperature, speed of rotation of a magnetic stirrer when mixing the components. To obtain graphene oxide from graphite powder, a modification of the Hamer method was carried out with clarification of the conditions of the process
Technological maps of the processes for obtaining graphene oxide-iron oxide (GO/Fe3O4), silicon oxide-iron oxide (SiO2/Fe3O4), and silicon oxide-silicon oxide-iron oxide (GO-SiO2/Fe3O4) composites have been developed.
As a result of structural studies, the presence of crystalline and amorphous phases of iron oxide in the synthesized composite materials was established and the sizes of iron oxide and silicon oxide nanoparticles were determined.
