popup.description2
The object of the study is the theoretical and comparative legal foundations of international law as an independent legal category, characterized by a set of features, characteristics, and functional purpose in the system of regulating interstate and cross-border legal relations.
The purpose of the work is to study the theoretical and legal foundations, regulatory and legal support, and promising directions for the development of international law.
The methodological basis of the department's research was a system of scientific methods that were used by scientists to perform the tasks of a specific study and achieve its goal. General theoretical and special scientific methods of cognition were used to solve the tasks.
Results and novelty: The latest international legal and comparative studies demonstrate a trend towards universalization and globalization of approaches to the interpretation of international legal institutions and mechanisms. Contemporary Ukrainian doctrine of international law actively integrates these theoretical achievements, improving methodological approaches and rethinking the role of international legal norms in the national legal order. The results obtained are reflected in the scientific works of the department — articles, monographs, textbooks, etc.
Degree of implementation: the theoretical provisions, conclusions, and proposals formulated in the research are used in addressing issues of regulatory and legal support for the activities of international organizations, developing a system for implementing international law into the legal system of Ukraine.
