In conditions of sufficient moisture in the studied soil-climatic zone, when growing corn for silage, it is recommended to use hybrids of the mid-ripening (FAO 299–399) and late-ripening (FAO 399–499) groups. Depending on the biological characteristics and the reaction of the hybrid to the feeding conditions, the yield of green mass and its quality may be different, which requires the selection of the most productive ones from among them.
