The Expected Outcome is a Significant Improvement in the Quality of Professional Training of Future Specialists in HEIs under Distance and Blended Learning Conditions. popup.description2 The paper considers methodological principles for modernizing distance and blended learning using augmented reality (AR) and interactive educational content. Based on theoretical analysis, empirical data, and the results of a pilot implementation, it has been proven that such technologies significantly improve the quality of the educational process and contribute to the formation of competencies necessary for effective professional activity in the context of digital transformation. It has been shown that the use of AR technologies significantly activates students' cognitive activity, provides a deeper immersion in the content of academic disciplines, and increases the level of engagement. Interactive materials, simulations, virtual laboratories, and dynamic models create conditions for meaningful experimentation and independent processing of information. Comparative test results and analysis of learning activity confirmed improvements in academic performance and the ability of students to apply knowledge in practical situations. Particular attention is paid to the impact of AR and interactive content on the formation of key competencies of the digital age, in particular critical thinking, analytical skills, creativity, digital literacy, and teamwork skills. It is emphasized that the level of innovation effectiveness largely depends on the availability of systematic methodological support: developed training scenarios, high-quality teaching materials, and the preparedness of teachers to work with digital tools. The importance of introducing a system of criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of innovations, both quantitative and qualitative, is separately justified.
