The object of the study is a system for grouping and coding material and technical resources used in the construction sector.
The purpose of the work is to carry out the development due to the need to improve the ability to determine unified approaches to grouping and coding material and technical resources in construction, which are used by all participants in the investment construction project at different stages of its implementation.
Research methods are analysis of regulatory documents and standards, comparative analysis of existing classifiers, systematization and grouping of data, logical modeling methods, expert assessments.
The main content of the work is the development of a technical part of the Codifier.
This technical part consists of the KNU “Guidelines for assigning codes, names and units of measurement to construction products” (hereinafter referred to as the Guidelines), the Dictionary of technical characteristics of construction products (hereinafter referred to as the Dictionary) and the Rules for maintaining the Codifier.
The Guide defines the basic rules for grouping, assigning codes, names, units of measurement, and other mandatory parameters to construction products used in construction work.
The Technical Characteristics Dictionary is a reference tool that contains standardized information on the main technical characteristics of construction products, defined by relevant European and national standards. Its function is to provide a unified approach to describing the properties of materials and products.
