popup.description1
To determine stabilization regularities of geodynamic processes in the rock massif; to develop safe technologies for mining ore deposits, which prevent from the formation of landslides and the destruction of industrial and civil facilities in the mining basins of Ukraine; to develop the smart electric power system of mining and metallurgical enterprises based on interconnected microenergy networks with cybersecurity functions in order to reduce the energy consumption component in the cost structure of iron ore.
popup.description2
explores the scientific and practical aspects of integrating smart power technologies into power supply systems of mining and metallurgical enterprises. The main focus is on increasing energy efficiency, power supply reliability and cybersecurity of underground iron ore enterprises in the context of rising electricity costs, complicated mining and geological conditions and the transition to market pricing mechanisms. The feasibility of implementing the Smart Grid concept, distributed generation, intelligent power consumption management systems, and the use of renewable energy sources is substantiated. Methods for forecasting power consumption, assessing energy potential and creating automated control systems for energy-intensive production are considered. The issue of cyber resilience of industrial microgrids is separately analyzed. A set of studies aimed at stabilizing geodynamic processes in the mountain range and improving mineral extraction technologies that prevent deformations of the earth's surface has been carried out. New transitional technologies from open-pit to underground and open-pit-underground mining of iron ore raw materials have been proposed. Unique geomechanical models of underground mining of rich iron ores at depths of up to 2500 m have been developed. The results obtained have been used to substantiate the safe construction of underground facilities, in particular military engineering facilities, using 3D scanning, modeling and analysis of resistance to air strikes. It has been proposed to use inactive pit sides as promising sites for the placement of protected underground structures.
