The theoretical and methodological foundations for studying the problem of forming professional competence of future educational managers and higher school teachers in domestic and global educational practice are grounded. The current state and trends of master's training for specialists in the field of educational management and higher school pedagogy are characterized. The content and structure of professional competence of future educational managers and higher school teachers are clarified, considering contemporary requirements for their activities. A system of principles, approaches, and pedagogical conditions that constitute the theoretical and methodological foundations of the investigated process is theoretically substantiated. Criteria and indicators have been developed, and levels of formation of professional competence for the target groups of specialists have been defined. The scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in clarifying the essence, structure, and components of professional competence of an educational manager and a higher school teacher (informational, communicative, psychological, ethical, pedagogical partnership), and in developing prognostic models for the professional development of future specialists to ensure their readiness for the challenges of professional activity in unstable socio-economic conditions. The practical value of the obtained results is manifested in the potential to enhance the quality of human capital, which is the foundation of a healthy, educated, and responsible society. The results will contribute to innovative development, the creation of a reliable foundation for the sustainable development of Ukraine, its prosperity, investment attractiveness.
