popup.description1
Synthesis and identification of new oxazolopyrimidine and pyrazolotriazine derivatives as potential anticancer agents.
popup.description2
A series of new predictive classification and regression QSAR models were created using the OCHEM platform for the design and synthesis of 7-amino- and 7-sulfonylamide-containing oxazolopyrimidines. New substituted oxazolo[4,5-d]pyrimidines and their analogues - bicyclic condensed derivatives of thienopyrimidines, pyrrolopyrimidines, oxadiazolopyridines and oxazolopyridines - were synthesized as potential anticancer agents, the activity of which was evaluated against NCI-60 cell lines. ADMET analysis showed that all synthesized compounds meet the criteria for drug activity. Molecular docking confirmed their interaction with carbonic anhydrase XII as a possible mechanism of action, making these molecules promising candidates against CNS and lung cancer. New functionalized 2,5-diaryl-oxazolo[4,5-d]pyrimidin-7-yl-amines were synthesized and their activity against HeLa, A549, HepG2, T98G cell lines and the non-cancerous NCTC clone 929 cell line was investigated. Three compounds were found to exhibit high cytotoxicity against HeLa cells, and two of them were found to be selective for non-cancerous cells.
