The study object was productivity formation in sunflower hybrids resistant to chemically different herbicides in the East of Ukraine.
The purpose was to increase yields of medium-early and medium-ripening sunflower hybrids grown under different components of the cultivation technology in the Eastern Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. Methods - field, laboratory, statistical.
The results revealed the following: Effects of pollination of sunflower flowers by bees on seed yield and quality under different cultivation technologies; Effects of plant density on yield and quality of sunflower hybrid seeds; Effects of recommended and double doses of insurance herbicides on yield of sunflower hybrids; Effectiveness of foliar application of boron on sunflower seed yield and quality. The effectiveness of sunflower cultivation technology components was tested under on-the-farm conditions.
