Title
Quantum and semi-classical aspects of collective processes in heavy atomic nuclei
popup.stage_title

popup.description1
The development of quantum Langevin approach for the investigation of the structure and rearrangement of
atomic nuclei in complicated processes, in particular, in the process of sub-barrier fission of heavy nuclei.
popup.description2
Within the framework of the five-dimensional Langevin approach, the mass distributions of the fission fragments of 180Hg and 190Hg nuclei are surprisingly well reproduced for all considered excitation energies;
the influence of dynamic deformation of the Fermi surface on the formation of monopole and quadrupole giant resonances in heavy spherical nuclei was investigated; within the framework of the micro-macroscopic approach and the theory of periodic orbits, an analytical expression for the density of nuclear levels as function of the excitation energy was derived; the application of the Van-der-Waals equation to asymmetric nuclear matter in the critical state region was analyzed; within the framework of the diffusion approximation of quantum kinetic theory, the two-particle relaxation time of multipole collective perturbations in a heated Fermi system is calculated.
