popup.description1
Analysis of the current state and determination of criteria for spatial and structural optimization of field protective forest belts of the forest-steppe zone of Ukraine. The complex of researches will allow to determine the current state of forest plantations and their optimal composition in the whole spectrum of soil-hydrological conditions of the Forest-Steppe. Based on this analysis, the species composition of tree and shrub plants will be determined, which is optimal for their use in the creation of field protective forest plantations. In order to improve the breed composition, the use of woody and shrub-introducing species (fast-growing, nectar- and pollen-bearing, energy plant species) will be recommended.
popup.description2
The conducted complex of studies allowed to determine the state of plantations and their optimality in the entire spectrum of soil and hydrological conditions of the Forest-Steppe. Based on this analysis, the need for planting trees and shrubs was determined. In order to improve the species composition, the controlled use of introduced species, both fast-growing and those that are nectar- and pollen-bearing plants for beekeeping, was recommended. A plan was developed for the reproduction and repair of existing forest belts by planting tree and shrub species, as well as the creation of optimal field forest belts from the existing range of fast-growing species. The current state of forest plantations and their optimal composition in the entire spectrum of soil and hydrological conditions of the Forest-Steppe was determined. The species composition of tree and shrub plants, optimal for their use in the creation of field shelterbelts, was proposed. In order to improve the species composition, the use of introduced tree and shrub species (fast-growing, nectar- and pollen-bearing, energy plant species) is recommended.
