The results of manifestation of the generative organs of plants abortiveness depending on varietal characteristics and their impact on the productivity of common bean grain are presented. Donor varieties of economically valuable traits have been identified for involvement in hybridization in order to create new bean varieties that would be maximally adapted to growing conditions and ensure significant realization of their genetic potential. Promising breeding material with high productivity, manufacturability and increased seed quality indicators has been selected. In 2023 the Freya and Elegance common bean varieties were included into the Register of Plant Varieties Suitable for Distribution in Ukraine, in 2025 – Vesnyanka and Koral ones. The Donat variety with a 2.8 t/ha seed yield potential in Forest-Steppe conditions, 322.5.0 g weight of 1000 seeds , 27.5% protein content in seeds was submitted for qualification examination in the State variety testing system in 2025.
