popup.description1
The purpose of the work is to determine the impact of aerothermogasdynamic and dynamic processes on the functioning of promising objects of rocket and space technology in different operating modes to ensure rapid forecasting of aerodynamic, thermal and dynamic loads which influence them
popup.description2
The object of the research - advanced rocket and space technology objects (ORST).
The aim of the work - to determine the influence of aerothermo-gasdynamic and dynamic processes on the operation of advanced ORST to predict acting loads.
The research methods - computational fluid dynamics methods, hydraulics, and dynamics.
Numerical simulation of thermogasdynamic and hydraulic processes in ORST systems was performed with regard to: determination of aerothermo-gasdynamic parameters arising during the operation of ORST and their subsystems, and the influence of control systems and rotation of launch vehicles (LV) on their thermal and aerodynamic characteristics (ADC); determination of dynamic loads acting on ORST and their components taking into account disturbances on the active trajectory phase; influence of hydraulic and thermogasdynamic processes in low-thrust reaction control engine (LTRCE) systems on dynamic load parameters acting on ORST; determination of gas mass flow rates and force effects of rarefied exhaust plumes from propulsion systems on spacecraft (SC) surfaces.
The following results were obtained: aerodynamic characteristics of LV under supersonic flow were studied for various flight control conditions; a marching algorithm for supersonic flow calculations around LV with division of the computational domain into subdomains was developed; algorithmic methods for modeling the motion of LV main stages were developed to solve the problem of optimal LV insertion under disturbances; the comprehensive mathematical model of LTRCE system operation for bi- and monopropellant fuels was modified and studied for typical operating modes using “green” propellants; a numerical algorithm for statistical modeling of aerothermo-gasdynamic processes was developed for rapid prediction of the impact of LTRCE combustion products on SC functional units under orbital conditions.
The results will be used in the rocket and space industry.
