In parallel, a mathematical model of the rolling stock is being created, the adequacy of which will be verified by comparing the calculated data with the results of the experiments performed. With the help of the developed model, the forecasting of the behavior of the existing railway rolling stock during high-speed traffic will be carried out and conclusions will be drawn about the features of the operation and maintenance of the constituent elements of the rolling stock, as well as the lower and upper structure of the track at speeds from 200 to 250 km/h. So, the object of the study is the rolling stock, which is used to organize accelerated traffic on the railways of Ukraine and has all the technical capabilities to operate in high-speed traffic. The aim of the work is to study the dynamic behavior of the rolling stock under different operating conditions. popup.description2 By analyzing research works, it has been established that both theoretical and experimental methods must be applied to ensure a high-quality assessment of the dynamic behavior of high-speed rolling stock. As a result, a comprehensive three-dimensional mathematical model of a high-speed rolling stock vehicle has been developed, taking into account the operation of the pneumatic suspension system, hydraulic vibration dampers in the first and second stages of suspension, as well as other mechanical connections. The model consists of 54 second-order differential equations. It has been established that, in the tare mode, the influence of the amplitude of vertical track irregularities becomes significant at high operating speeds. At a speed of 120 km/h and with an amplitude variation from 5 to 25 mm, the vertical dynamic coefficients of the first suspension stage vary within the range of 0.022–0.123, while at a speed of 250 km/h they range from 0.123 to 0.555. In the gross load mode, the vertical dynamic coefficients of the first suspension stage are lower compared to the tare mode, which improves the dynamic behavior of the rolling stock. For a track irregularity length of 10 m, the minimum and maximum differences are 42.4% and 66.8%, respectively. It has been noted that with an increase in the length of vertical track irregularities, the difference between the tare and gross load modes decreases and amounts to 64.2% for a length of 15 m, 51.1% for 20 m, and 26.3% for 25 m. Full-scale experimental studies of the ride comfort index of rolling stock equipped with a pneumatic suspension system have been conducted. The results demonstrate that the maximum deviation from theoretical values is 9.39% in the vertical direction and 11.98% in the horizontal direction. Product Description popup.authors Andrii Y.
