Methodological features of bioindication studies of soil quality and biodiversity have been determined. Information support for soil quality assessment based on indicator indicators of soil structural and functional characteristics has been formed. The indicative significance of soil biochemical characteristics has been proven. Ecotoxicity indices of soils with anthropogenic load have been established. The state of soils affected by active hostilities has been assessed using biological indicators. Information data files have been created for inclusion in the database “Biological Properties of Soils of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Soil Information Center. A system of bioindication indicators has been developed for soil quality assessment with the aim of timely detection of degradation and preservation of biodiversity, which is set out in the prepared scientific publication “Bioindication of Soils of Modern Agrocenoses”.
