The species composition of phytoparasitic nematodes on winter wheat in the Lviv and Odesa regions was studied. The database of species composition of phytonematodes in cereal agrocenoses was expanded. In winter wheat agrocenoses, 5 species of vermiform phytohelminths (Pratylenchus pratensis, Ditylenchus dipsaci, Tylenchorhynchus dubius, Paratylenchus nanus, Helicotylenchus dihystera), 7 species of mycohelminths, and 22 species of saprophytic nematodes were identified.
The possibilities of applying environmentally safe anti-nematode measures, in particular resistant cultivars and optimal pesticide treatments, were investigated. Relatively resistant winter wheat cultivars, Lada and Nika, were identified; during the growing season they showed the lowest reproduction coefficient of the main phytogelminth species.
It was established that the preparations Vitavax 200 FF (application rate 3 L/t) and Kinto Duo (application rate 2.5 L/t) demonstrated high anti-nematode efficacy (at the level of 52–85%).
