popup.description1
The goal is to develop socio-psychological technologies for promoting readiness to resist environmental and epidemic threats to health among participants in the educational process.
popup.description2
During the reporting period, the research team developed a comprehensive system aimed at strengthening the psychological readiness of participants in the educational process to respond effectively to ecological and epidemic threats to human health. A conceptual framework of socio-psychological promotion of readiness was created, defining its core components – cognitive, motivational, emotional, dispositional, and operational. A classification of ecologically and epidemiologically driven psychological threats relevant to contemporary Ukraine was also developed.
A large-scale empirical study was conducted, including focus groups, a survey of 520 university students, and qualitative interviews with 300 respondents from various regions of Ukraine and abroad. The collected data made it possible to identify students’ attitudes toward health, barriers and resources that facilitate coping, motives for pro-environmental behavior, and factors shaping resilience. A diagnostically rich and ethically approved battery of methods was created, integrating both international and original tools for assessing psychological readiness.
Based on the empirical findings, a program of socio-psychological promotion of readiness was designed. It includes 12 author-developed facilitation techniques and an interactive digital supplement. The program aims to strengthen risk awareness, emotional resilience, pro-ecological motivation, and psycho-hygienic skills among students and educators. The results of this stage have significant scientific and practical value for education, psychological support services, and public health, and may be incorporated into national strategies for ecological and epidemic safety.
