Pedagogical observation of the organization of educational interaction of participants in the educational process during the pedagogical practice of future primary school teachers was carried out, the state of the problem under study was studied by interviewing teachers of the Sumy region within the framework of the traditional regional scientific and methodological seminar "Competence Approach in Education: Theory and Practice". Trends and patterns of development of the problem of training future primary school teachers for the formation of key and subject competencies of primary school students have been identified, the essence of interdisciplinary relations and the scientific context of their implementation in educational fields as a resource for the formation of subject and key competencies have been revealed. A systematic, multidimensional and interdisciplinary complex of studies has been carried out aimed at studying the regularities of development of the problem of preparing future primary school teachers for the formation of key and subject competencies of primary school students, modernization of the content, forms and technologies of training future primary school teachers in the context of the implementation of the ideas of the New Ukrainian School and European educational guidelines. Scientific research covers the problems of linguodidactics, the formation of communicative, language, reading, life, natural, digital and social competencies of primary education students, the development of professional, methodological and research culture of future teachers.
