popup.description1
A comprehensive systemic characterization of the sphere of memory policy in Ukraine through the prism of the analysis of historical narratives, the identification of the stages of its formation, the determination of the effectiveness of the implementation procedure in historical retrospect and the principles of implementing this policy in the conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
popup.description2
State memory policy is an important component of the political activity (humanitarian policy) of the state, a set of principles, methods and specific state and socio-political measures standardized in conceptual and legal terms for the use (taking into account) of information about the historical past in the processes of state (national-state) construction and socio-cultural reproduction of a political nation.
The main goal of the research is a comprehensive systemic characterization of the sphere of memory policy in Ukraine through the prism of the analysis of historical narratives, the isolation of the stages of its formation, the determination of the effectiveness of the implementation procedure in historical retrospect and the principles of implementing this policy in the conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The relevance of the NDR is determined by the need to form and promote among the general public the concept of a Eurocentric model of memory, which will make it impossible to use historical memory to increase social tension in society, since memories of past social or interethnic insults, disputes, and hostility actualize social conflicts and confrontations, which weakens Ukraine's defense capabilities in the context of armed confrontation with the Russian Federation.
