The studies conducted by us make it possible to assess the state of the microcapillary bed in the mucous membrane of the cheek in patients with chronic recurrent stomatitis, in contrast to rheoparodontographic and dopplerogaphic studies, which assess only the state of the main vessels, which only indirectly affect the microcapillary blood supply. It has been proven that when aft appears on the mucous membrane of the oral cavity, methemoglobinemia occurs as a result of a violation of the oxygen-transport function of the blood. At the same time, the tissues are not able to absorb oxygen, as a result of which tissue hypoxia occurs, which can lead to the appearance of aft. In patients with chronic recurrent stomatitis, in the first days of the appearance of aft, there is a decrease in the mobility of the nuclei of buccal epithelial cells by 1.8 times, a decrease in the amplitudes of displacement of nuclei and plasmol and the ratio of these amplitudes compared to the norm, and an increase in ΔрН by 3 times. The obtained results of the study provide a basis for the appointment of means for the normalization of functional adaptation-compensatory reactions of the mucous membrane of the oral cavity and oral fluid and the normalization of blood supply.
