popup.description1
Determination of features of morphofunctional organization of organs of domestic and wild animals under the action of biotic and abiotic factors
popup.description2
The report presents results of a comprehensive morphological study of the digestive organs in domestic and ornamental birds, as well as several vertebrate and invertebrate species. The aim was to determine patterns of morphogenesis, structural–functional organization, and reactive changes in the digestive system under normal conditions, influence of biologically active substances, environmental toxicants, and disease. Anatomical, histological, histochemical, morphometric, and biochemical methods were applied.
Age-related morphogenesis of the intestine, formation of the enteric nervous system, and growth dynamics of villi and crypts were established. For the first time, the localization of the myenteric plexus in domestic ducks and the presence of parietal acini in pancreatic ducts of geese were described. The phytobiotic DOSTO Liquid and multivitamin complex Forvit were shown to enhance growth, carcass quality, and hematological parameters in broilers. Morphological manifestations of avian coccidiosis, tuberculosis, steatohepatosis, and comorbid pathologies were characterized.
The results expand understanding of the structural and functional organization of the avian digestive system and are of practical importance for diagnostics, veterinary morphology, poultry farming, and environmental toxicology.
