Head Vlasenko Fedir P., Кандидат філософських наук Registration Date 03-03-2026 Organization Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv popup.description1 The study aims to systematically explore the phenomenon of academic migration and management tools for protecting intellectual capital; to develop mechanisms for using educational tools for practices of social partnership and tolerance improving to counteract the "brain drain" from Ukraine. popup.description2 The relevance of this study is обусловed by the need for a systematic analysis of academic migration and its impact on the development of education, science, society, and the state. Scholars and educators play a crucial role in shaping human capital as a component of national wealth; therefore, their large-scale outflow constitutes a serious challenge for Ukraine and its national security. The problem has become particularly acute as a result of the full-scale war, which has led to the mass emigration of educators, researchers, and students. Despite existing scholarly contributions, effective mechanisms for minimizing the negative consequences of the “brain drain” require further substantiation and implementation. The aim of the study is to provide a comprehensive examination of the phenomenon of academic migration and the managerial instruments for preserving intellectual capital, as well as to develop mechanisms for improving practices of social partnership and tolerance through educational means in order to counteract the “brain drain.” The objectives include: analyzing the socio-economic, psychological, and socio-cultural determinants and trends of academic migration; generalizing international experience in migration governance; conducting statistical research to assess the quantitative and qualitative parameters of intellectual migration; systematizing data on practices for preserving and developing intellectual capital; substantiating the role of social partnership and tolerance in mitigating migration risks; developing a managerial model for ensuring tolerance in the educational process and preparing relevant methodological guidelines for higher education institutions; and enhancing academic partnership through the application of advanced information technologies and positive international experience, thereby fostering a model of “academic migration for development.” Product Description popup.authors Alina S.
