It was established that the decisive factors in increasing the yield and marketability of products are the combination of genetic features of varieties and hybrids, the use of adapted rootstocks, optimization of agrotechnological methods, the use of biological products and elements of biologization of production. For vegetable and melon crops, the effectiveness of intensive technologies using high-yielding hybrids, grafting, rational mineral nutrition and biologically active preparations has been proven, which ensures a significant increase in yield, improvement of product quality and increase in profitability. In fruit and berry crops, the determining role of varietal characteristics, rootstocks and crown formation systems, in particular pruning times and methods, in realizing the biological potential of plantations has been shown. Special attention is paid to post-harvest storage of products. It has been established that the use of chitosan coatings, salicylic acid and biological preparations significantly extends the storage period of fruits and berries, reduces mass loss and the development of microbiological damage, ensuring a high yield of marketable products. It is generalized that the implementation of integrated environmentally friendly technologies is the basis for the sustainable development of vegetable growing, horticulture and berry growing, ensuring high productivity, product quality and economic efficiency of production.
