The object of the study was the reference strain Candida albicans UKM Y-2681 (ATCC 10231).
Thus, the main characteristics of the corresponding reference culture, which is used for quality control of medicines, were confirmed in the studied microorganism. After the work, the indicator strain was lyophilized and transferred to the customer with a passport indicating its origin, conditions of maintenance and storage, biological properties and purpose of use according to the State Pharmacopoeia of Ukraine.
