The research demonstrated that combining gravity-based approaches with intelligent data processing significantly improves the accuracy of spatial forecasting and supports well-balanced planning of urban systems. In collaboration with the authors V. Legeza, L. Oleshchenko and A. Dychka, geodesic curve simulation on transcendental surfaces with cycloidal generatrices was conducted, providing important theoretical results for geometric modelling, navigation tasks, and optimization of curved surfaces. The monograph “Mathematical Methods and Information Technologies for the Optimization of Intercity Passenger Transportation” presents new mathematical models for passenger-flow forecasting, transport resource optimization, and GIS-based decision support. The integration of deep learning methods, including LSTM networks, improves prediction accuracy and supports adaptive transport management. Two software systems were developed. HuffShelter implements the Huff gravity model for optimized placement of civil protection shelters using intelligent spatial data analysis, API-based data retrieval, and interactive visualization. OptiBusManager integrates LSTM-based passenger flow forecasting with MILP route optimization and real-time fleet management in a microservices architecture.
