The role of modifying (stabilizing) additives and promoters, the influence of dealumination of NiBEA zeolite compositions on the functional characteristics of catalysts have been clarified, and the influence of the ratio of reagents as regulating factors for optimizing the dry reforming of methane (DRM) processes with ensuring resistance to carbonization, leveling of side processes, obtaining high selectivity and synthesis gas yield has been determined. Doping of oxide and zeolite systems with compounds of Cr and rare earth elements (La, Ce) has been proposed, which provides regulation of redox and acid-base characteristics and increases the activity, selectivity and stability of the catalysts in the DRM process. Optimization of the functional characteristics of the surface, rational design of the structure at the nano-, micro-, and macro-levels will become the basis for the development of active and stable catalysts for the DRM process at different СН4/СО2 ratios.
