Object of research: the influence of biocomponents and force fields on the antiwear properties of traditional and alternative diesel fuels. The research methods are based on the use of systems analysis methods, analytical, monographic, comparison, generalization methods, as well as standard methods for studying the performance indicators of diesel fuels for diesel engines. The work investigated the antiwear properties of traditional diesel fuel, as well as biocomponents obtained from rapeseed and sunflower oils, and their mixtures. It was found that the lubricating ability of biocomponents is higher compared to traditional diesel fuel. Also, when adding biocomponents to traditional diesel fuel, the boundary film is strengthened, which can lead to an increase in the anti-wear properties of their mixtures. It was experimentally established that methyl, ethyl and butyl esters of fatty acids of vegetable oils have a positive effect on the lubricating ability of traditional diesel fuels, therefore they can be used to improve the anti-wear properties of diesel fuels. The results of theoretical and experimental research have been implemented in the production process of PrJSC "Klavdiyevo Experimental Plant" (village Klavdiyevo-Tarasovo, Kyiv region), as well as in the educational process of the Department of Instruments and Systems of Non-Destructive Testing of the State Scientific and Technological Educational Institution "Kyiv Aviation Institute" during the preparation and teaching of courses on the disciplines "Modern Technologies of Bioenergy Complexes" and "Operational Features of Alternative Aviation Fuels".
