Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description1 The goal of the project is to develop methods of modeling the processes of optimal management of modern ones multi-component complex information systems of various purposes and on the basis of developed methods to develop promising means of information processing and cybernetic systems for solving problems of managing the specified processes. The goal of the project is aimed at balance ensuring the defense capability and security of Ukraine with the needs to support the economy of the post-war state, which is extremely relevant for today. popup.description2 The object of this study is the functioning processes of complex multi-component information systems (CMIS) operating in highly dynamic and uncertain environments. The project aims to develop methods for modeling optimal control processes in modern CMIS of various purposes and, on this basis, to design advanced information-processing tools and cybernetic systems for solving control problems related to these processes. The research methodology relies on entropy-based analysis, chaos theory, attention mechanisms, and artificial intelligence algorithms. The main results include the development of a unified multilevel framework for CMIS modeling and control; the design of optimization algorithms for control processes based on entropic and chaotic indicators; the creation of hardware–software architectures and modules for anomaly detection and unmanned system control; and the validation of the proposed solutions using simulation data and applied scenarios, which demonstrated their effectiveness. The results may be applied in the military domain (control systems for unmanned aerial vehicles and robotic platforms), urban infrastructure, the agro-industrial sector, and socio-economic systems, as well as in the development of educational programs in higher education institutions. The practical significance of the study lies in establishing a methodological framework and hardware–software solutions that enhance the reliability and efficiency of CMIS across various application domains and support the recovery and modernization of the national economy. In conclusion, the obtained results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed CMIS modeling and control methods, ensuring adaptability, robustness, and anomaly detection capabilities, and provide a solid scientific and practical basis for the further development and implementation of intelligent hardware–software systems.
