The object of the study were the reference strains of Bacillus cereus UKM B-908 (ATCC 11778), Bacillus mycoides (Bacillus cereus var. mycoides) UKM B-903, Escherichia coli UKM B-906 (ATCC 25922), Micrococcus luteus (Micrococcus flavus) UKM Ac-634 (ATCC 10240), Pseudomonas aeruginosa UKM B-900 (ATCC 9027), Kocuria rhizophila (Micrococcus luteus) UKM Ac-613 (ATCC 9341), Staphylococcus aureus UKM B-918 (ATCC 6538), Candida albicans UKM Y-2681 (ATCC 10231). Thus, the main characteristics of the corresponding reference cultures used for quality control of medicines were confirmed in the studied microorganisms. After the work is completed, the indicator strains are lyophilized and transferred to the customer with passports indicating their origin, conditions of maintenance and storage, biological properties and purpose of use according to the State Pharmacopoeia of Ukraine.
