The subject of this study is the training of military specialists at the strategic and operational levels in Ukraine from 1991 to 2025.
The aim of this research is to summarize the experience of training military specialists at the strategic and operational levels in Ukraine from
1991 to 2025 and to improve education at the National Defense University of Ukraine. The objectives of this research are:
– to conduct a retrospective analysis of the training of military specialists at the strategic and operational levels (1991–2025);
– to develop recommendations on how to apply historical experience in organizing officer training to improve the training of military specialists at the strategic and operational levels.
Research methods. The following methods were used in the course of the work: synthesis, systematization, comparison, and generalization—to study the essence and content of the experience in training military specialists at the strategic and operational levels (1991–2025).
To accomplish the set objectives, theoretical and empirical research methods were employed, which complemented one another
and ensured the achievement of the research project’s goals.
The scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in the fact that recommendations have been substantiated regarding the use of historical experience in organizing officer training to improve the training of military specialists at the strategic and operational levels.
Results of the research: a retrospective analysis of the training of military specialists at the strategic and operational levels (1991–2025); recommendations on the use of historical experience in organizing officer training to improve the training of military specialists at the strategic and operational levels. The chosen research focus is related to the implementation of the operational objective
