Formulate proposals for improving the legal regulatory framework in the field of labor and social protection. popup.description2 The research project is aimed at developing a comprehensive scientific understanding of the current state and strategic prospects for the development of labor legislation, occupational safety and health law, and social security and social insurance legislation of Ukraine in the context of digitalization, martial law, and European integration transformations. The study focuses on elaborating conceptual foundations for the modernization of the legal regulation of social and labor relations, taking into account the principles of social justice, the primacy of human dignity, the balance of interests between employees and employers, and the assurance of the State’s social resilience. The work provides a comprehensive analysis of labor law reform, particularly with regard to the expansion of non-standard and precarious forms of employment, the development of employment contracts with non-fixed working hours, the differentiation of legal regulation applicable to specific categories of workers, and the adaptation of legal norms to the challenges of the digital economy. The necessity of improving mechanisms of remuneration, disciplinary liability, the functioning of mediation institutions, and the resolution of collective labor disputes is substantiated in order to ensure enterprise stability and an adequate level of protection of labor rights. Special attention is paid to occupational safety and health as a fundamental guarantee of the right to safe working conditions, the strengthening of employers’ liability in the context of heightened social risks, and the improvement of procedures for ensuring industrial safety. In the field of social protection, a theoretical and legal analysis of the social insurance system is conducted, and directions for its modernization as well as for the unification of the legal status of its subjects are identified.
