The use of a highly active strain of Bacillus subtilis bacteria ensures the preservation of nutrients at the level of 90-95%, increases the productive effect of feed by 5-10%. A 10-12% losses decrease is accompanied by an increase in the protein nutritional value of legume grasses hay by 8-18%. When using the Bacillus subtilis bacteria strain the nutritional value of alfalfa hay of high humidity made up 8.40 MJ of metabolizable energy and 15.3% of crude protein, of the legume-cereal hay – 8.20 MJ of metabolizable energy and 11.2% of crude protein based on the calculation for the dry matter, and was higher due to the reduction of mechanical and biological losses during harvesting and storage.
