popup.description1
Ensuring improved performance, energy saving and service life of piston engines based on the implementation of the latest design solutions and technologies for organizing the work process using improved engine systems and promising types of fuel. Deepening the study of hybrid power plants for vehicles with piston internal combustion engines.
popup.description2
The object of the study is the physicochemical, mechanical, thermodynamic and information processes that occur during the operation of automobile internal combustion engines and affect their operational qualities.
The subject of the study is the indicator and effective indicators of the internal combustion engine and other types of power plants based on it, indicators of fuel efficiency, exhaust gas toxicity and the service life of piston internal combustion engines, their mechanisms and systems.
The purpose of the work is to ensure the improvement of operational qualities, energy saving and service life of piston engines based on the introduction of the latest design solutions and technologies for organizing the work process when using advanced engine systems and promising types of fuel.
The research methods are computational and experimental, using modern laboratory equipment and complex software tools for mathematical analysis and calculations.
When performing this research, the following tasks were solved: the designs of camless gas distribution mechanisms of modern automobile internal combustion engines were analyzed;
a study of the heat exchange process in a combined power plant based on an internal combustion engine was conducted; elements of the air supply system for gas, gasoline-gas and gas-diesel engines were studied; a model was developed and parameters of hybrid power plants for vehicles of categories M1, N1 were determined using the Simcenter Amesim software package;
the latest approaches to determining the integral efficiency indicators of vehicle diesel engines based on the external speed characteristic were developed;
a computational and experimental study of the properties of the working fluid in the cylinder of the 1D 8.2/8.7 engine in the processes of gas exchange and mixture formation was conducted.
