popup.description1
Research into the possibility of creating a safe and environmentally friendly technology for the finishing of high-precision parts made of thermoplastics, including those obtained by 3D printing methods, with the products of combustion of low-pressure hydrogen-air mixtures based on "green" hydrogen in the Impulse Thermal Energy Method, as well as automatic determination of processing modes due to development of digital twins of work processes.
popup.description2
The project is aimed at developing an automated technology for precision finishing of thermoplastic parts based on the impulse thermal energy method (ITEM), using combustion products of low-pressure “green” hydrogen and electrochemical machining. During the reporting stage, software for digital twins of ITEM equipment working processes was developed. It enables simulation of working chamber evacuation, formation and combustion of a hydrogen–air mixture, thermal effects of combustion products, and their controlled release, with consideration of experimental data. Software was also developed to determine the optimal arrangement of a group of parts in the working chamber, taking into account geometric constraints, uniformity of thermal loading, and prevention of local pressure-wave formation. The method for calculating electrochemical machining parameters using combined electrodes manufactured by 3D printing technologies was experimentally verified, and technological recommendations for their application were developed. The obtained results provide a computational and experimental basis for automating ITEM and electrochemical machining, improving the accuracy, productivity, and safety of technological processes, and supporting the development of high-technology manufacturing in Ukraine.
