popup.description1
Improvement of modern directions of constructive implementation and improvement of the efficiency of executive mechanisms, assemblies and prefabricated units of lifting and transporting machines is possible on the basis of the development of new and improvement of existing methods of design, calculation, construction, strengthening of executive mechanisms, their component parts and metal structures
popup.description2
The subject of the study is lifting equipment. The aim of the study is to improve the technical standard of lifting and transport equipment by refining machine designs, production processes and operating conditions. Research methods: improving the technical standard of lifting and transport equipment by refining machine designs, production processes and operating conditions. The report contains a number of new findings; specifically, the analysis of the literature indicates that, to date, there are no comprehensive studies of the behavior of long loads on tower cranes in post-accident operating modes, whilst simultaneously taking into account the possibilities for active damping of vibrations; and the processes of structural reorganization of the dynamic system following the breakage of one of the sling strands remain insufficiently studied, as do issues concerning the development of specialized technical means for the rapid damping of vibrations; an analysis was carried out of excess labor costs during welding in relation to the specified functions, which influence the reduction of production labor intensity and the increase in labor productivity; an analysis of the interaction between the protective surface coating and spatter during welding—specifically, the interaction between the perfectly smooth surfaces of the droplet and the coating in the elastic region, which may occur in the heating zone of the protective coating—has made it possible to establish relationships characterizing both the surface condition of the contacting bodies and the thermophysical characteristics of the droplet and coating materials. Expected application – in the development of new machines and mechanisms for enterprises within Ukraine’s machine-building sector. The results of this work may be utilized by other developers and researchers in the field of lifting and handling equipment.
